8/7/2020 Dear Austin ISD Family,  Early this morning, the Austin ISD Board of Trustees approved a revised school calendar which reflects students’ first day as September 8. 

AISD Releases Mobile App

Austin ISD is happy to announce the launch of our mobile app—a new way to stay connected. The app will allow all AISD students, staff and families to receive notifications from the district and campuses for which they wish to subscribe.

Austin ISD to Host Reopening Information Sessions

Austin ISD will host two virtual information sessions to help give students, families and staff a stronger sense of what the return to school will look and feel like in August. 

2020-21 School Year to Begin with Virtual Instruction

The health and safety of our students and staff are at the forefront of all of our decisions. Even though the first day of school is August 18, we know that our teachers and staff need to report to school weeks before that date.

Austin ISD 2020-21 Reopening Information

At Austin ISD, we are actively preparing for the 2020-21 school year and the return of students and staff on Aug. 18. We know our parents and staff have some questions regarding how school may look in just over a month, whether instruction is online or in person. 

Garcia YMLA Families Are Eligible for P-EBT Benefits, Deadline Extended to July 31st

Because Garcia YMLA participates in the Community Eligibility Provision Program, or Provision 2, your family is automatically eligible to apply for Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) benefits to buy food from any retailer that accepts the Texas Lone Star Card.
