Austin ISD welcomes involvement from the families of all our students.

We encourage you to support your student by attending as many school events as you can. We offer a variety of volunteering opportunities for those who want to be a part of the Gus Garcia Young Men’s Leadership Academy school community, including the PTSA and Campus Advisory Council.

Our staff includes a full-time Parent Support Specialist, highly-qualified counselors and an administrative leadership team whose primary focus is ensuring that your student succeeds.

We have Garcia YMLA yard signs, bumper stickers and reusable grocery bags available for you to show your school pride in the neighborhood. Just ask at the main office.
