Building a meaningful partnership with our students' families is crucial to us here at YMLA.

Students gain a huge benefit from knowing that their families are engaged and involved in their education, which is why we encourage you to talk to us and share your ideas! 

Our Principal, Mr. Mejia, holds regular 'Coffee with the Principal' meetings in the YMLA Library where you can meet for coffee and small group conversation. We really want to hear what you think about all aspects of your child's YMLA experience.

Coffee with the Principal will be held monthly, alternating in the a.m./p.m. to allow more opportunity for our families to participate.

Meeting Times:

Our Meetings are typically scheduled for the 3rd Thursday of every month.  Changes to the regular schedule are announced via email. Contact Christina Wright at christina.m.wright@austinisd.org to get on the mailing list.
