AISD Repairs and Replacements

There are free replacements for items that wear down naturally from every day use (battery issues, basic touch screen or keyboard issues, etc). 

There is 1 free replacement for accidental damage that is not covered by the district warranty, per year. 

Range of potential fines based on repair or replacement costs:

• Screen Damage = $215
• Keyboard Damage (including intentional removal or alteration of one or more key caps) = $90
• Liquid/Water Damage = $287
• Additional/Miscellaneous Damage = $20-$200
• Destroyed or Lost Device = $500
• Destroyed or Lost Charger = Family replaces with a similar 45W USB-C charger
