Basketball

Our YMLA Middle School Basketball Team embodies the mission of our athletic program by fostering respect, leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence both on and off the court. Through competitive play, our student-athletes learn the lifelong values of accountability, integrity, structure, and discipline, growing not only as players but as young men of character. We believe athletics is a vital part of a student’s educational journey, and the court serves as an extension of the classroom—where lessons in effort, resilience, sportsmanship, and collaboration come to life. Guided by coaches who prioritize social and emotional development, our basketball athletes build strong self-awareness, responsible decision-making skills, and meaningful relationships with their teammates, opponents, and the broader community.
