Boys and Girls Club

Gus Garcia YMLA is a proud to partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area to offer high-quality, free afterschool programs right on our campus! BGCAA programs focus on Academic Success, Leadership, Healthy Lifestyles, Workforce Development and more. To register your youth to attend, just visit Offering Details (daxko.com) -> Join the Club!

The Boys and Girls Club provides after-school activities to Garcia YMLA students Monday through Friday from 3:40-6:45 P.M.

  • Transportation is provided to select areas.
  • Snacks are provided.

Eligibility

  • Open to everyone from ages 11 to 14
  • Students must be enrolled in Gus Garcia Middle School to be eligible.

Verde FC

Through BGC we are partnering with Austin FC Verde Leaders program, which is on-site, after-school training sessions twice a week Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30pm-6:45pm. Students develop soccer skills and critical SEL skills, such as healthy communication and perspective-taking. To register, just visit Offering Details (daxko.com)
