At Gus Garcia YMLA, we are proud to recognize the outstanding young men who have earned the Gold Tie Award this grading period! This prestigious honor celebrates students who demonstrate exemplary behavior, strong academic performance, and excellent attendance. These young men are not only achieving academically but are also living out our School Motto and Creed every day.
In addition to the Gold Tie Award, up to two students per grade level receive the distinguished My Brother’s Keeper Award, recognizing their dedication to supporting and uplifting their peers.
Our Gold Tie leaders serve as role models within our House System, setting an example through teamwork, accountability, and integrity. Their leadership inspires others to strive for excellence, and their commitment to school values helps create a positive, supportive community for all students.
