NJHS: Brown Santa Service Project

Our NJHS students had an incredible and heartwarming experience at this year’s Brown Santa service event! As a National Junior Honor Society chapter, community service is one of our core pillars, and this project was a shining example of our students putting leadership, character, and citizenship into action.

Dr. Royster and Ms. Marble were thrilled to spend the day working alongside our dedicated scholars as they packed Christmas boxes for five different families and wrapped an amazing 65 gifts. It was truly inspiring to watch the boys take pride in giving back to their community. Many of them repeated with big smiles, “We’re going to give this kid a really good Christmas.” Their enthusiasm and compassion showed exactly what NJHS is all about—serving others and making a meaningful difference.

A special personal highlight was having my Ms. Marble's mom join us to volunteer. Sharing this experience with everyone and our NJHS students made the day even more meaningful, and we couldn’t be more proud of the kindness and teamwork our boys demonstrated.
