We are proud to share that 7–10 outstanding Gus Garcia YMLA students will be recognized at the Neighborhood Longhorns Program Scholarship Banquet for the 2024–25 school year! This special event will take place on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, and will honor more than 500 scholarship winners from 12 AISD campuses—a remarkable celebration of achievement, dedication, and hard work.

The banquet will be held at the DKR–Texas Memorial Stadium North End Zone Touchdown Club, where students, families, and community partners will gather for an inspiring evening. Our friends at Whataburger will be providing meals, and the event will feature appearances by the Silver Spurs and AISD Student-Athletes, who will help present medals to this year’s honorees.

The evening will begin with a short program from 6:30–7:00 p.m., followed by the recognition of each student by school. We are incredibly proud of our Neighborhood Longhorns Program participants and the academic commitment they continue to demonstrate.
