We are excited to announce that the Garcia YMLA Library has been selected as a recipient of the Austin ISD Library Grant, earning $500 in funding for our campus! With many qualified applicants across the district, we are proud and grateful that our campus was chosen during this competitive winter grant cycle.

This partially funded grant will support our efforts to expand resources, increase accessibility, and enrich the learning experiences of our students. Whether through new books, improved materials, or enhanced programming, these funds will help us continue building a library space that inspires curiosity, creativity, and a love of reading.

Thank you to Austin ISD Library Services and the grant committee for recognizing the needs and vision of our library. And thank you to our staff and community for supporting literacy initiatives that benefit every student on our campus.
